About the role

Balfour Beatty has exciting opportunities for Project Engineers to join our talented Rail team at our Exeter or Bristol office.

What you'll be doing

  • Attend HAZID (Hazard Identification) meetings.
  • Monitor working package plans (WPP)
  • Produce preconstruction information packs (PCIP)
  • Attend conductor rail equipment (CRE) appointments
  • Attend design review meetings
  • Provide a response to technical queries
  • Attend IDC/IDR meetings
  • Further consultation, MSRP, drivability etc.
  • Ensure that DRNs are filled out appropriately.
  • Prepare RAMs
  • Act as appointed person for lifting operations (training will be provided)

Who we're looking for

  • PTS qualification
  • Bachelors degree in Engineering
  • Previous experience as a Project Engineer within the Rail industry.
  • Proficiency in IT and MS Office.
  • A desire to continuously pursue innovation and development, with a focus on the customer and the business.
